| 2D Design
Starting by either creating some unique artwork totally within ArtCAM Insignia using the advanced drawing tools or use imported 2D vector artwork to design around. Insignia can import most vector file formats, including ai and eps, also retaining all the original layer information for dwg and dxf files. You are also able to bring in and vestorize 2D Bitmap images. ArtCAM Insignia supports most common vector formats JPEG's, Tiffs, Gifs, and BMP's
Vector outlines, are created to map out the various different elements of your design. These vectors will act as guides to control your toolpath creation.
For this example the initial design is imported and just requires some text added to it before having the toolpaths calculated.
