A laser beam is a very bundled up light, which with the CO2 laser by means of a laser tube is produced and is bundled up by one or several lenses. There are different kinds of lasers, e.g., gas laser (laser with the active medium is gas-shaped is endowed , here CO2) and solid state laser (a carrier crystal is endowed with ions of a foreign material. These ions are the real active medium, therefore, solid state laser). Almost all our equipment works by CO2 laser principle. Advantages: Compared with mechanical engraving machines / to engraving devices laser-engraving machines are quicker, more exact, have no mechanical demand of an engraving bits and work without direct contact with the working material. Can I cut metal with your lasers? Yes / No! NO! Unfortunately, this is not possible with our cheap CO2 laser systems. Nevertheless, we can offer to you solutions for this from approx. 40,000 EUR
6. With which materials can I work with your laser? Almost with all … Basically all organic materials and engraveable materials! Here some examples paper, cardboard, wood, veneer. However, plastics, acrylic glass ®, plexiglas®, vinyl, nylon, polyester, polycarbonate, silicone, styrene, synthetic material, fiberglass, fabric, composite materials, foamed plastics, stamp rubber, metals (perfectly are suited anodized aluminum, varnished / coated metals but also high-grade steel, hard metal, steel, chrome, brass, copper among other things), glass, ceramics, stone, marble, granite, leather, cork, materials / textiles and a lot of more, just all organic materials!
7. Which materials can I cut with this laser system? Many … Counts to ours skylaser less than 100 W: Basically all abovementioned materials except metals, glass, stone, marble and the similar. However, we also have special laser systems for metal. The price moves by these laser devices from approx. 40,000 euros.
8.Which system requirements should I provide? Standard You need a relatively topical, customary Windows PC with a parallel (printer) interface, serial interface or by some devices also USB connection. Further you need a graphic arts program / CAD program, as for example CorelDRAW!, AutoCAD, Adobe illustrator, Freehand or similarly. More than 90% of all users use Corel Draw.
9. Which accessories are necessary for an engraving laser? Suction/filters You need a professional withdrawal system with filter system of the filtering of the pollutants or the laser smoke. Our systems to filters 99,998% of all particle from the exhaust air of the engraving laser. Please, follow moreover in Germany suitable laws and regulations. For many applications you need one more aerial compressor. Of course you can also use your available and suitable devices.
10. Which subsequent costs fall for a laser engraving system in? Is the laser tube susceptible? None / no! Actually, none, because light not wears out, how engraving gouge by customary engraving devices / engraving systems. Also short lifetime of laser tubes are a rumor! Our laser tubes CO2 of the worldwide leading manufacturers have a life span of approx. 20,000 hours. However, the precise life expectancy depends from the right use, application and space surroundings.
11. Stay I alone after the purchase (guarantee, support, learning)? No! Of course not! We have a wide spectrum of services (support), as for example installation, , trainings, software updates, servicing contracts, guarantee lengthening till 5 years incl. premium-support with phone call possibilities beyond the working times and also on the week-end. You receive the full manufacturer's guarantee. In this time you have claim to free repair or exchange of the device!
12.Can I also finance a Skylaser (lease)? Yes! Of course, with pleasure we provide to you a suitable leasing offer about personal skylaser system.
13. Can I arm a plotter or CNC machine with a laser and do you sell single laser tubes for this? No! We do not deliver single laser components! This also does no sense, because single laser tubes CO2 with suitable optics and protective case would be very expensive and remake would bring a lot of work and with it problems. Our laser devices are extremely cheap and therefore no savings would arise. 14. Have you pattern or can you test our laser material? Yes! We have suitable patterns of every current material (rubber, paper, cardboard, wood, acrylic, laser plastic, high-grade steel, anodized aluminum among other things there. 16. Do you have used laser-engraving devices? Yes or No! At the moment we have no have used devices. This has many reasons. From one site, our prices are extremely cheap for engraving laser with which no savings arise. From other Laser have used laser-engraving devices are sold very fast.
